MAY 26, 2018 - Post 60 Members & Boy Scout Troop 611 placed 534 flags at Memory Gardens in Lexington in honor of Memorial Day, 2018.
Post Members Commander Jerry Gipe, Tom Butler, Joe Roncelli, Earl Parris, John Tye, and Paul Redden worked with Don Coen, Larry Brooks, and Scout Master Matt Commings, along with other members of Troop 611, to place 534 flags of different sizes in Memory Gardens in honor of Memorial Day.
275 of the flags were small service flags placed on the graves of Veterans.
Flags were also placed throughout Lexington, and in the downtown flower pots. Many thanks to the businesses and individuals around Lexington who support our flag service.

American Legion Post 60 color guard led the Festival of Lights parade through downtown Lexington. Members of the color guard are Pandora Kuhnlien, Bob Stompoly, Jerry Gipe and Dee Duncan.
